One of the two screws on the thumb rest is lost, does anyone know where to buy those screws?
Thanks.

I had a thumbrest screw fall out on my Leblanc Dynamic H...I found that a screw from one of those cheap eyeglass repair kits was a perfect fit!

Any music service retailer that does repairs in house can order a Yamaha screw. Be prepared to pay about $2 for the part.

I wish my students would miraculously find lost screws! Although, I can't complain. I had one kid today who miraculously found a lost mouthpiece-- after we told Mom & Dad how much a replacement would cost. :-)

Nothing better than a big magnet on a long handle to find lost screws if you know the general area where they were lost. Maybe they should put a bit of iron in contact lenses to speed things up when a high school football game gets delayed while everyone looks for the lost lens. I found such a device in a hardware store a few years ago and am amazed at how many times it solves a problem.

But most thumb rest screws are made of cupro-nickel.

Anyone can order parts directly from Yamaha. All you need to know is the model number:

Replace with decent stainless steel pins from Kraus. Or make my own from sterling silver.
