I am re-doing the woodwind fingering guide and could use some help in creating XML for the fingerings for all the different instruments so that in the future I can keep the pages updated in a easier and more consistent format. I've built software that can create the gif pictures in a consistent way for regular, trill, quarter tone, alternate, microphonic, tremolo and gawd knows what else people dream up (thank goodness all keywork can be represented by a FSM so it was essentially just a write-once, create a different FS description for each instrument). I'm just about done with creating XML for all the flute fingerings, and that's taken quite some time - much longer than creating the desired output from it.

If you have some spare hours, really good with an editor, know how to cut & paste direct from the screen, and don't mind very tedious work, drop me a line at charette@woodwind.org. Have I got a job for you ...
