 music store

ok this is a stupid question but here goes. I want to try out a variety of mouthpieces and ligs, and i have a music and arts store nearby. Problem is i've always done so from WWBW and don't know how the trial goes in an actual store. As in, do you bring ur instrument to the store and try it there? Or can you purchase from the cashier and return it when your trial is done?

thx.

Why not simply ask the store?

If your Music and Arts store is anything like those in MD they don't carry a very large selection of ether ligs or MPs. Every private store is different in this respect. Your best bet is to give them a call and ask them but as I said, don't expect much. By the way, I've recently added a page of Ligs and MPs on my website, what to look for and how to go about it. Check it out. ESP http://eddiesclarinet.com

Rapidcif,
If you are indeed in Apex, N.C., as your Internet address suggests, then you are about 160 miles east of Boone, N.C., the home of a very fine woodwind shop called Muncy Winds. You should be able to try many kinds of mouthpieces and ligatures there. The prices are good and the service, according to those who have patronized Muncy, is excellent.

Check out Muncy's Web site. If you don't mind the drive, it may be worth your while.

If it's too far, Muncy has a very efficient mail-order business.

er, wwbw and music and arts were the same company the last time i checked

be that as it may, a road trip to muncy would well worth the time, effort, and expense - they are a professional operation by anyones definition
