IMSLP is a good resource for finding public domain scores, of course, but I have discovered that it also contains a number of good music books, as well.

And, some of you will be pleased to learn, it just so happens that they have a free copy of Klose's method. Click the above link and look under "M" for "Methode" (the French title, although the book is in English).
The only real limitations to this free version are that all the fingering information is for Albert clarinets (it was a 19th century publication made for the U.S. market) and that it doesn't contain Simeon Bellison's additions like the orange copy you can buy at your local music store (Bellison added, among other things, some of the Kroepsch studies to the back of the in-print version).
But, hey, it's free....can't argue with free!
Some other goodies on the site include orchestration books by Berlioz and Rimsky-Korsakoff, Rameau's "Treatise of Music," "Sketch of a New Aesthetic of Music" by Busoni, "The Violin as I Play It" by Auer, and Sor's Guitar Method.
