I don't follow many music blogs, but one which I have been reading is from David Thomas (principal clarinet, Columbus Symphony Orchestra)

He writes on a number of clarinet topics on often adds recordings of his own performances with the Columbus Symphony (Copland, Rossini, Debussy, Mozart, etc...)

Of special interest is his recent project of working through the Jeanjean 18 with full performances and interepretive ideas.

As interesting as this is, I clicked on this thread thinking it was about someone else.

There is another David Thomas who is principle clarinet of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.

Great blog though!

I like this blog too. He is a very accomplished clarinet player, and yet he writes about things he's still working on, which I respect tremendously! It's nice to read about such things!

Very good blog. Well designed, easy to navigate, lots of musical examples. Done by an excellent clarinet player.
