I don't know if some of you remember, but years back I made a weirdo clarinet webpage. I hadn't updated it in forever, and it was kind of bad.
I just updated it today and moved it over to google sites!

Oh, that's a fun website. Thanks for doing it. I have some photos to add if you like them, such as a left handed clarinet.

I'm pleased to take a small bit of credit for a few of the photos on Bonnie Sue's very cool website --- I had overhauled the brass Kohlert bass clarinet which is owned by another one of our BB'ers (our metal clarinet expert Jim Lande), and at Bonnie's request took some photos of the instrument before (reluctantly!) returning it to its owner.
Fortunately, some years later, I found and acquired my current metal Kohlert bass clarinet which is identical to Jim's brass one other than mine being nickel plated. It has since acquired a low-C extension and become the ugly but fearsome "Frankenhorn". Sorry for veering off on a tangent. ![[wink]](http://test.woodwind.org/clarinet/BBoard/smileys/smilie3.gif)

Yes, Dave hooked me up with the Brass Bass. That thing was awesome! Now for my gold plated contrabass... mmm... :P
Someone else sent me the picture of the clear clarinets, I can't remember it's been so long.
I did work at the University of Maryland Performing Arts Library in the Special Collections. My main focus was the ICA collection, MLA (MUSIC Lib Assoc.) and the Bandmasters Assoc. Now I work in a library archive specializing in S. MD history and Genealogy. Funny where we end up sometimes. The Photo of the metal Leblanc family came from one of the magazines at UMD, but again, I forgot to take note from where. I plan on going back and putting citations to give people credit where it's due.
Also, the Hammerschmidt was a <website which cannot be named> item that someone was selling, which apparently was once owned by another BB member (Clarnibass? I think). Then Stephen Fox based his straight bass clarinet off of that one, cuz apparently I had one of the only pics of it at the time!
If you have pictures you don't mind me adding, email me the link on the website. I haven't added any new ones in a while since I kind of left it to sit for so long.
I have also been adding links to other sites of instruments gone wild for people to check out.
