I am getting lots of water in my greenline. Should I (or can I) oil the bore of a greenline clarinet? Anyone ?

Oil will not be absorbed by Greenline material and if you use mineral oil bore oil you can be dissolving the resin.

"Oil will not be absorbed by Greenline material"
Well, it may not be absorbed, but just a light coating might change the path of the water to reduce water in the tone holes, right?

The oil might change the surface characteristics slightly - might work? But the oil, providing it was a plant derived oil, would be washed away or spread by the action of swabbing. A wax might be a better solution?

Best not oiling it at all, and maintain it in the same manner as you'd maintain a plastic clarinet as Greenline is a composite material.
