I don't know who's playing the clarinet, but the audio file is a snippet from a 1941 Columbia recording of "Peter and the Wolf" played by "The All American Orchestra," narrated by Basil Rathbone, and conducted by Stokowski. (www.archive.org has the full recording.)
An example of how things were done in the old days, before editing was easy: one take, and minimal, if any, editing. (Tape recording was new then.)
An object lesson to those who listen to modern recordings and think that pros must never (and never do) make mistakes.
