 buffet serial numbers

Hi. I've come across this Buffet clarinet with the serial # 460314 which according to Buffet's site is an RC Prestige. However, the pic I've seen doesn't look like it. Can different models of Buffet instruments have the same serial #? Thanks in advance, Steve.

That's a plastic Buffet B12 - which was never made by Buffet - but by Schreiber in Germany. They use an entirely different serial number list.

The studetnt-grade instruments are not on the main Buffet list, as mentioned above. Buffet's website list only lists what they classify as their more advanced insruments.
