what is the differences between traditional and profile88?
until now, I still don't know what is the differences
what type of mouthpiece (like traditional or profile88) on another brands (like Selmer)?
the last question,
I'm an intermediate orchestra player, and my clarinet is YCL-450N and I wanna change my mouthpiece with Vandoren.
what Vandoren mouthpiece and reed that suitable for me? I like warm and dark sound, like German sound

Profile 88 has steeper beak angle, while traditional has wider angle. Let's say... Profile 88 is about 30 degrees, while traditional is about 40 degrees.
I really didn't see any other brands, but I think traditional mouthpieces would be closer to other brands... since other brands claim to "produce excelletn tuning ratio at 440 - 442 Hz..." Think other more experienced (and older and richer) people can verify / contradict my guess...
Last question... it's the universal answer... "You have to try it yourself." Really depends on people. For example... below is the list of my high school's wind ensemble's reed & mpc combo list:
principal clarinet: B45 and V12 strength 4 (a bit weird combo, but since most of us were told that B45 was the best mouthpiece... stupid, now that I think about it) had a really sweet and dense sound
second clarinet: M30 (?) with V12 3.5
third clarinet: an unknown mpc (the labels were long gone) with the VD Traditional Strength 3.5 (had a strong core, but not as dark and sweet as the principal).
fourth clarinet: B45 with VD Traditional 3.5 (lovely sound also)
fifth: (again) B45 with Traditional 4 (sounded airy, however)
sixth: (again...) B45 with Rue Lepic 4
seventh: 5RV with Traditional 3.
I (eighth) used Rico's Grand Concert Evolution 3.5 (now 3) with... no certain mouthpiece. I was switching around mouthpieces to see what mouthpiece is the most comfortable... M13, M30, and 5RV. I still haven't come to a conclusion yet, but M13 is out of the list now that I am playing size 3... a bit too soft, you see.
And all of sounded the way we were. I could go on, but my head is hurting now...
So the point being... You have to try it yourself. Mouthpieces and reeds, to see if you like the sound and whatnot. Although, for dark sound, most people seem to be comfortable with V12... a bit tricky to play (and one heck of a job to tweak the reeds, even with the ATG system...), but lovely and dense sound... as far as my friends go. As for mouthpiece... try M30, 5RV, and M13. Out of the 7 VD mouthpieces I tried, those came pretty close to having a dense sound. And do keep in mind the recommended reed strength for those mouthpieces...

I'm not surprised, that's a /mental/ reed strength for that mpc... :-) Imho, no. 3 is strong for B45. Ah, the wonders of HS reed inflation.

What do you think about mouthpiece that provides dark sound?

OK, so B44 appears to be a short, close mouthpiece similar to 5RV
(search on "B44 facing")

- M15 and M30 are long, close mouthpieces and will need harder reeds than you normally play.
- B40 is supposedly a darker sound than B45 because B40 has a wider tip rail.
- I like B40 Lyre, personally.
The best thing is to try as many as you can. And remember it's possible to be TOO dark.

In Indonesia, we cant try a mpc because the mpc is very limited, not all available

the M13-L will drop the pitch a bit - they're designed for a=440.
it that works where you are, its a great mouthpiece.
but you will want to try several - vandoren's are not as consistent as they used to be.
