Sourcing Tube Cane for Clarinet Reeds
Author: Dileep Gangolli
Date:   2009-07-16 22:08

Hi All,

After a 15 year hiatus (due to kids and a career detour), I have again started making reeds.

Do any of you have a good source for tube cane?

Any sources, other than Var area, from Argentina, China or Australia?

Any particularly good years in recent past that translate into good starting material?

Thanks,
Dileep

I don't know about tube cane, but www.aw-reeds.de sells reed blanks for clarinet.
I have never tried making reeds with their blanks, but their reeds are great.
