As Thomas K mentioned in the Neidich/Weber string, at http://space.tv.cctv.com/video/VIDE1244733405929888 there is a great performance recording from the 2005 ClarinetFest in Japan -- Neidich playing the Weber Quintet, Michael Han Kim playing Debussy, plus Carter's GRA and the Bartok Contrasts.
Is there anyone fluent in Japanese (perhaps Mark's wife or kids) who can find other ClarinetFest performances on this site?

You mean fluent in Chinese?  (the web site's a Chinese web site, so unfortunately my wife can't translate)

It is Prize winner concert for the 2nd Beijing international music competition for clarinet, held in Beijing on May 5th,2009, broadcasted on chinese CCTV.:)

Yes,he is Mr.Brunner, one of the jury for the competition. The one who played sonata is Mr.Giammarco CASANI from Italy, Principal Clarinetist of Rome Symphony Orchestra.

Oh I didn't know he was that respected to be a member of a jury. Always found him awful player I and I was pretty sure it was him as his tone did cut through my ear. Oh well at least I can look forward to enjoy Martin Fröst in two concerts next season with the Icelandic symphony that will be a pleasure.
