Does anyone know anything about Laval Clarinets? My daughter is going into 6th grade next year and is going to join band. She will need a clarinet and I saw this on E-bey. Just wanted to know if it was a good enough one for a beginner.

Avoid it.
It's known as a CSO, a clarinet shaped object.
Stick with Buffet, Yamaha, Selmer and LeBlanc (Vito).

Use the search function to find a frequently republished list of the many, many brands of cheap and unreliable clarinets available to the unsuspecting.

I have a Laval eefer. It's not absolutely horrible but I would still avoid it. Like above, I would stick to the main brand clarinets. They can be less expensive for much much much (much) better quality.
