Jack Brymer lists a piece by Saint Seans in his book. I've never heard it, so can't tell you if it is interesting or not.

The Tarantelle by Saint-Saens is a fun piece and usually goes down well with the audience. There are also some waltzes by Schostakovich which are fun. I just got the music for a Concertino by Ernest Bloch. It's for flute, viola (or clarinet) and string orchestra or piano. I'm not sure if the clarinet and piano versions are by Bloch himself. I haven't played it yet, but it looks nice.

Google for the webpage of the Webster Trio (Michael Webster and wife Leone Buyse). They have performed, commisioned and arrenged lots of pieces. Transcriptions by Mr. Webster are very good.
