I've tried several mouthpieces, VandorenM45, 5RV, M13L, M30, Clark Fobes Debut, and cannot love any one of these. I play a Buffet E11 and am fairly new to clarinet. Have started getting lessons and really want a mouthpiece that's easy to perform on. Can you suggest one or two that may work well for me? Thanks.

It's just about impossible to recommend a mouthpiece for a new player, sight unseen. Best bet is to consult with your teacher to try and find a good one that fits your playing style.

a beginner shouldn't be switching equipment.
have your teacher suggest a mouthpiece/ligature/reed combination, then stick with it for a few years.
after you have 500-1000 hours of practice time behind you , then you can start looking at equipment upgrades.

i do everything wrong and make a huge number of mistakes as a consequence, but after a year of playing the clarinet i bought a K13 from walter grabner.
4yrs on it was one of the better decisions i made. i have tried quite a few others and have even bought a K14 simply because it came up on an auction site for a good price and i wanted to try it. these are the only ones i play regularly. as a learner i can empathise with your desire for a playable mpc. these are wonderful and worth every cent.

Paul is absolutely correct. As a beginner or early stage learner you should be on a "middle of the road" setup of mouthpiece and reed and then just learn to play it.

Following Paul's standpoint... David Weber used to make all of his students play on 5RV mouthpieces with Bonade ligatures... because if you can sound good on that, you'll sound good on everything

Either ask your teacher to recommend one for you to use for now, or plan on asking them after you've been taking lessons with the same teacher for at least a few months. You might even ask the teacher if they think now or later is a good time for you.
I think it's fairly likely that if you leave things be, a few months on they'll probably listen to you with their head tilted slightly sideways and say, "I think it's time you got a new mouthpiece".

For 25 years I used the Vandoren V360. They don't make them anymore but you may come across an old one. Much like the 5RV, but a little brighter sound.
