Though not clarinet-related (yet!) I thought folks here would be interested in the project I am currently working on.

We are aiming to start a full symphony orchestra in a deprived area - to give the children an alternative to growing up into crime and substance abuse. All based on El Sistema from Venezuela.

The UK should have had something like this put into practice years ago if not decades ago, but at least now its off the ground and I hope the success of the project you're working on has further reaching influence and success across the UK.
