Thanks

The last time I saw one was on eBay.fr last year, and it went for around £100-120 which wasn't a bad price.

I don't know if it's still true but Charles Bay sold an "improved angle" neck for Selmer basses. I bought one years ago when I had a Selmer and it worked great.

What model?

For the 35/37 or the Privilege models, I'm pretty sure the current necks should fit (both versions - more angled and less angled). You can get those from a Selmer dealer probably.

For a different model, maybe someone knows if the current necks fit the model you have.

Be prepared to spend big bucks. It's amazing what people charge for a piece of bent tubing.

Especially when it's a piece of bent tubing with a certain name on it.

I know you can get the ones without the register key for about $80 on WWBW, but with the key I guess you may be better off calling a dealer. Hell if I know where you'd get a hold of one, though.

If you don't require a tuning slide in the center, it would be possible and not too difficult for a tech to obtain a non-register key neck and retrofit a register pip and key to it. Would save you big $$$ over buying an OEM neck.
