 Carmina Burana

I've been recently contracted to play principal clarinet in a free lance orchestra performing Carmina Burana. The music will be arriving next week.

I know that the instrumention for the full clarinet section is Bb, A, Eb and Bass, but does anyone happen to know if the principal clarinet part includes Eb clarinet, or is the Eb clarinet part in the 2nd or 3rd part with the bass clarinet?

Thanks...GBK

As I recall, the 2nd doubles bass and the third doubles Eb. I'm sure there's someone with a score on list.

When I played it, the 2nd clarinet and I mixed and matched parts so that I played all the auxiliaries (they don't overlap). Had all 4 clarinets out for that one.
