 Buying a new clarinet
Author: ewqasd

Hi, I have been playing clarinet for almsot 4 1/2 years. and I think I am pretty decent now. so I want to buy a better clarinet and I just want some advices and recommendations.

Following are my current equips:
clarinet: Buffet B12
mouthpiece: Gennusa Excellente GE(close tip)
ligature: BG Super Revelation
Reed: Vandoren 56 size 3.5 and Vandoren V12 size 4
many of my buffet b12 keys are pink because the coating(?) came off.

I am thinking of spending around $2000(either buffet or selmer or leblanc). I heard that buffet is more of free blowing and selmer is more of dark and focused sound and leblanc has very good control over the registers. Which clarinet of which brand should I buy? Please explain too.

Thanks!

I definitely recommend that you actually try all those which interest you. This may involve some travel, but that's part of the fun, right?
