The only custom bells I am aware of are the Backun bells (although I'm sure there are others).

There are many custom barrels to choose from. The one I use (and the only one I've tried) is the Ridenour Ivorolon barrel (R bore). It really helps focus tone and darken higher notes. I found response and overall evenness a bit smoother as well. (And it certainly is cheap compared to the other custom barrels!)

There are lots of custom barrel and bell companies, although less that make bells.

Something to remember though is in a blind audition (which happens frequently in highschool or college auditions as well as professional ones) no one can see what you're playing on. Don't be swayed just because something looks beautiful! Always have other clarinetist's who's opinion you respect listen to the differences.

I haven't tried anything besides backun as far as bells go, and have been very happy with my grenadilla bell on my Bb R13.

You can call or email any of the companies (I'm sure someone is about to make a list) and they can send you a sample package.

Orsi & Weir makes both barrels and bells in different woods and tapers.

Hmm.... that's odd. The name of the company has changed.
