who's up on hard-to-find Marcellus and McLane recordings?

Most of the posts I'm finding in the Clar. BBd archives are from the late 1990s-early 2000s--but a lot of the stuff that's mentioned doesn't seem to be around any longer.

Here's where I'm at: I'm in the process of ordering the Cleveland/Szell collection of Beethoven symphonies and piano concertos, have the Cleveland/Marcellus K622 concerto on the way (thanks GBK), just acquired an old Columbia LP of Phila/Ormandy doing "Pines of Rome" (with what I assume is McLane's solo), have a copy of that lovely Dvorak cello concerto with Piatigorsky and McLane, and see there are multiple used copies on Amazon of the box set "Maestro Brillante" covering Ormandy and the Phila orchestra for most of the 1940s.

Am I missing anything? Any suggestions? (I'm primarily hoping for CDs, but I'm not averse to doing searches for outstanding LPs.)

If you are a Szell/Marcellus fan (as I am) the complete Brahms Symphonies (with other included goodies) has to be in your library:

http://www.amazon.com/Symphony-Complete-Variations-Haydn-Tragic/dp/B000025TZQ/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1230668464&sr=8-7

You should also try and get the Szell (w/Marcellus) Pictures at an Exhibition and Capriccio Espagnol:

http://www.amazon.com/Pictures-at-Exhibition-Capriccio-Espagnol/dp/B0000CF33L/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1230668662&sr=1-2

Finally, Dvorak 7 and others:

http://www.amazon.com/Symphony-Carnival-Overture-Cleveland-Orchestra/dp/B000054OXH/ref=pd_sim_m_1

or the Dvorak set of Sym 7, 8 and 9

http://www.amazon.com/George-Szell-Dvorak-Symphonies-Symphony/dp/B000007QCH/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1230689244&sr=1-1

There are other Szell recordings, but those are some of my favorite collections ...GBK

Thanks, GBK, I wasn't aware of the Brahms or Dvorak box sets, and the Pictures at an Exhibition cd must be the notorious "Russian record" that (until Sony released it) was a kind of hot bootleg item. Thanks for handing them to me on a plate!

There is also a Cleveland/Szell set of Schumann Symphonies on CD. Schumann 2 is particularly nice.

re:McLane - there is an outstanding Brahms 4, and a French recording - Faun, Daphnis 2nd Suite and one other (too lazy to walk downstairs and look!). I found this LP in a used record store here in Richmond and came home and immediately recorded it onto a CD. Listening through headphones, I heard a low pitched hum in the background as Wm. Kincaid played the opening of Faun. Repeated hearings lead me to believe that a bus pulled away from in front of the Academy of Music during the most inopportune time while this recording was being made. It's not obvious just listening through speakers, but you can hear it with headphones and a relatively high volume level.

There's an article about McLane recordings in the Philadelphia Orchestra in an old issue of "The Clarinet", written by Douglas Miller.
