Can you take it to a good local technician first? They can probably help you with model verification - and whether that price is reasonable.
I recently followed up on a Craigslist ad offering a Buffet R-13. Turned out the case was Buffet, but the clarinet was plastic, with no logos whatsoever - and needed $150-200 worth of pads and adjustments to become playable.
