 Conversion of music

For a solo I will have to do later next year, I want to play a certain piece of music. But, the music is only for piano and flute.

Is it possible to convert the flute part to B flat clarinet and still have it sound good?

Depends on the piece. If it goes too high it will probably sound bad on clarinet, and it might not sound right even taken down an octave or two. Remember you will have to transpose it up one whole tone for it to sound right with the piano. Try it and see if you like how it sounds.
