 Multiple Clarinet Carry options??
Author: William

Primarily for orchestral players, just wondering how you carry your clarinet sets--double, triple, quad (ala Wiseman) cases or variations?

Main reason for this posting is to discuss the practicality of the triple and (expensive) Wiseman quad cases.

I use the Wiseman bass clarinet case made for a bass and one clarinet but I never carry my clarinet in it. I use the room for my “stuff” and a portable bass stand I had made that fits nicely. Carrying one or two clarinets in a bass clarinet case would make it much to heavy and changing back and forth when you need your clarinets and not your bass is asking for trouble. You’re bound to forget something now and then switching cases. I carry my double case on my back in a Pro Tec double case, with music etc. inside an Attieri case cover and my Wiseman case on my shoulder. Works for me, I love my Wiseman. ESP
