I have a Yamaha YCL-450N with an old Vandoren B44 and BG standard ligature.
When I was playing the note in the throat (F,F#,G,G#,A,A#), the tones is airy (not clear) and the tuned is low pitch.

What is the problem with my clarinet??

 What should I do?

 Thank you

Try using different resonance fingerings for the throat tones to see which ones work the best with your set-up ...GBK

Were they not flat in the past? If it's not you, the mouthpiece or reed, then it could be dirt in the tone holes. That's exactly what it was for a clarinet of a local player, who thought she should get a new instrument until her clarient was cleaned.
