Ah, I actually have this performance on a DVD, but I've only ever watched it once as I don't own a DVD player.... I quite like the playing. I've met other players from Europe who use the Buffet Elite and have always been impressed. I remember being told (I really can't remember who by) that this clarinet was supposed to make a "smaller, sweeter tone- more suitable for chamber music" (not exact quote). Well, this certainly hasn't been the case any of the times I've heard people perform playing an Elite (by which i mean, it hasn't sounded like the players were restricted by their choice of instrument)
