Hey guys,
I need some music recommendations using any combo of violin, cello and clarinet. Any instrument can be dropped and there can be any number of one instrument.
THANKS!!

There's always the Beethoven trio (with Cello and Piano). It's an early Beethoven piece so it's still very "Mozart-Like".
Then there's the Milhaud Suite for Clarinet, Violin and Piano - very cool. And the Sute from L'Histoire De Soldat for Clarinet Violin and Piano - Stravinsky.

Hans Gal, a composer who dies in 1935 has a "Serenade for Clarinet, Violin and Cello, Opus 93" which is an excellent work, some 22 minutes long which goes very well with the audience. It is somewhat like Richard Strauss (Gal knew Strausss) and is for Clarinet in A, and really works quite well. I performed this on May 4th at The Unitarian Church in Montreal. The publisher is Simrock, (who was Brahms publisher, by the way).

No.
He wrote the trio in 1935. He lived another 52 years, dying at the age of 97.

You're correct. I only performed the piece.
Thank you.
