 Baermann Third Division
Author: David Lee

Based on many recommendations by previous posters, I purchased a copy of Baermann Third Division , for better or worse I have the one edited by Langenus. On page six there is a note at the top: " Broken Chord Passages through all the keys with three different kinds of strokes."No futher explanatin, in addition on this page a symbol appears, a star followed by a line leading to a small triangle with a dot in the middle of the triangle, this symbol is used quite often in the book. Perhaps it was defined in Division one or two.

Looking for an explanation of the symbol and the three different strokes comment. Thanks.
