Does anyone have a contact for him? He was a classmate in the AHS Band in the early 40s, then studied with McLane, and after a few years at Cleveland, was principal at Baltmore. Was principal at ST. Louis for 34 years. Now?? Thanks.

He was principal in Baltimore before Cleveland. I've been here of 45 years and Gennusa was principal when I arrived, and had been for several years before I came. Don't know where or what he's doing now though. ESP

He is retired and lives in St. Louis, Missouri. There will be a tribute to him at the Kansas City Clarinet Fest in July. He will probably be there!

Could be wrong, but I believe Mr. Silfies graduated from Curtis with a degree in piano and Clarinet. Talk about talent....you don't hear about something like that happening much.
