 Lip Saver cushion product

New Sponsor ad "the lip saver" I just saw.

Anybody have one? I'll probably order one, tried ordering with paypal but their link didn't work to do it so will have to call. Abe Galper way back offered a lip cushion, but I lost it a long time ago as I didn't use it.

Typically what I have found with denture cushions, first aid tape, etc is that they are either too thick or not enough cushion to work at all.

David, Try floral tape, the tape they wrap flowers with. It comes in a roll in different colors, white is suggested. Since it sticks to itself but does not have glue on it, you can make it as thick or thin as you like by folding it on itself as many times as you need. I do two folds making it four thicknesses. It easily molds to your teeth and can be used several times before it begins to cut through. You can get it any place that sells imitation flowers like Wal-Mart, home decorating-hobby stores or many florists. It costs a buck or two for a roll. Just my suggestion. ESP

Is that the same as amalgamating (insulating) tape?

I've got a roll of that - not sure it'll taste very nice though.

Chris, I don't know what amalgamating tape is but floral tape has no taste, at least the white color doesn't. I've been using it for over thirty years now and I still have my teeth, good thing too because I'm not ready to pack it in. ESP

........or scrap leather.

Once used it hardens when left too long (more than a day), but will soften back up with a few minutes of soaking. You can find (or even make) the whatever thickness you need and they last FOREVER!!!

Will pork scratchings (hog lumps) work?

I reckon they'll taste much better than scrap leather!
