 Suggestions for overhaul work

Friends, my R13, 105xxx vintage deserves a thorough going over. Would appreciate suggestions for people you have used as well as prices you paid for what was done (if you do not object). I am in Maine but have no objection to shipping it to the right person. Thanks. David

Hello,

I highly recommend Wojtek Komsta out of Jersey City, New Jersey. If you're interested, contact me directly and I'll give you his contact info.

In addition to Ben Redwine's suggestion, I highly recommend Larry Naylor (one of the board sponsors). He and his team did excellent work in restoring our Selmer Centered Tone to its full promise.

I recently had my 1960's R13 completely gone over by Dave Spiegelthal who is a frequent poster on this board. It had been "lost" in the basement for ten years and was badly tarnished with old corks etc. It is now good as new. I highly recommend Dave who is in Maryland.

I'll put in a good word for Vytas Krass as well, also a contributor to our discussions here. In Maine, Glen Sargent comes to mind right away and Bill Street is a possibility as well.

I could only recommend Mark Jacobi.

Marvin Kranz in St. Louis is great (St. Louis Woodwind and Brass Repair). If you don't mind shipping it here, I would recommend him.
