I am searching for a book on arranging. To the best of my knowledge it is out of print. Here's what I know!
I think it may be called "Quick Steps to Arranging"
My notes were messed up from the past, I think the author may me "Lacrone" or somthing like that.
It was a basic book on arranging. Not creative arranging, but functional.
Any help would be very welcome!

Hi J K - Since I do a bit of digging-out of music arrangements, I took a brief look into Sheet Music Plus, a BBoard sponsor, I believe, and found a Leckrone suggested . You might try Musicnotes as well, and of course Amazon, B&N, ?EBAY? also. Librarians at the larger "music schools", might help . Luck, Don
Thanx, Mark, Don

Good hunting, Wm, I did run into some concert band refs, so might Southern Music in San Antonio be a good place to look further? Don

Thanks everyone, I called him today and he is in the process of re-gaining the rights of this book from Alfred publishing and having it re-published. But he does have an old one with the lp that came with it! Hopefully I will have it soon!
