I've an Golden Crest lp performance by Jack Snavely of the Petite Piece by composer "L. Quet." The jacket gives no other information about the composer or the piece, except to refer to the piece as a popular contest solo. I didn't get much else from Google. Does anyone know more about "L. Quet" and his compositions?
As a sidebar, I'll mention that the lp also contains the "Fantasia and Rondo" excerpted from Weber's Quintet and arranged for clarinet and piano. The jacket says the work is rarely performed in its original form, where the lightweight material belies its extensive length, with a lack of concentration being shown by the work having taken from 1811 to 1815 to compose. These claims are ludicrous, and should never have been included in a series of recordings apparently intended as educational.

Chris Zello recorded this piece awhile back. At the time he asked the Bulletin Board if anyone had any information on Lucien Quet. I can't find any meaningful responses. However, Chris must have found at least a little information on the composer, somewhere. Not much, but more than I have seen before is here:
