What are the differences between these two clarinet choirs at ClarinetFest? How do we know which one we'd want to register for?

Last summer:
The upper choir auditioned the players and assigned the "best" to principle and associate principle positions. the other did not make the distinction.
One young woman from Florida played in both.
I skipped the choirs because there was so much other great stuff going on during their rehearsals.

Brenda, I think the difference in the two choirs is that the college choir is for kids in college...while the festival choir is for anybody with a reed. The one time I've done the choir, in Atlanta, I had a great time..mostly because Carbonare played with us. It's a great way to meet some people.

OK, this makes some sense. Once we arrive I'll have to see if rehearsals interfere with seeing the two guest artists I don't want to miss. Right now I'm at work listening to a CD of Paquito D'Rivera and his trio, it's gotta be great stuff to listen to live! And he's a proud Rossi clarinet owner.
