Calteau Mouthpiece

Hi. I bought an old B&H Emperor - dates from around 1960. It came with two mouthpieces. One is a Vandoren 5RV, which I think is around ten years old. The other is marked Calteau, and "Made In England", and I think is possibly contemporary with the clarinet. I've been using the 5RV until now but wondered if anyone could tell me anything about Calteau mouthpieces and how they compare with the Vandoren. Thanks

Sorry, should have added that the only other marking on the Calteau is the number "2"

30 years ago, when I learnt the clarinet at school, my teacher insisted that I got a Calteau No. 2 mouthpiece for my clarinet. I remembering getting it by mail order, along with reeds which had a bloke's name on them!
They came from a firm in Manchester (UK).

i recently bought a B&H 1010 and it came with 3 mpc's. an original B&H1010. a Calteau and a noname. the B&H was the best one and i'm having dave spiegelthal reface it. the calteau was very inferior in terms of tone and playability and i don't consider it worth refacing, even at dave's very moderate prices. the noname was better.
