Here is some great playing from the Italian Clarinet player Sergio Bosi. Marvellous musicality, he captures the spirit and drive of the the piece. Terrific articulation and technique...interesting choreography.

I think that they would make a great Astaire-Rogers couple.
Personally, the acrobatics do not disturb me. I know it really irritates many other watchers, but it in no way changes the music, and if it is truly a genuine "getting into the groove of the piece," I see no problem.
I liked the phrasing at the beginning of the coda, different from Sabine's recording, which is also good.
