Hello BBoard-ers!
I was wondering if anyone could posisbly help me. I am currently doing a Post Tonal research assignment on Gerard Grisey's Anubis, Nout. I have been in contact with Harry Sparnaay and he has been most helpful but I was just wondering if anyone else had had the experience playing it? Or even better if they had a recording of it? The assignment is a work in progress and I would be more than greateful to hear anyone's comments of the work. In particular, if anyone happened to have a photo/fingering chart for the old style Leblanc contra bass clarinet that would be most helpful... the work is full of 'colourations' using alternate fingering, and as I dont have a recording Im basing my analysis on the actual score and how I perceive how it is written. This would be a lot easier if i could actually understand what is happening with all the harmonics/multiphonics.
Thank you so much for anyone who has any information! I am eternally grateful!
Jasmin

Amazon.com in the U.S. shows a recording available on the Kairos label. Search for "Grisey Anubis Nout" without the quotes. My guess is they would ship to Australia. Google the same search for alternative sources in other countries. (I didn't drill far enough down the list to find a source in Australia but there may be one. Also, from the Amazon listing, I couldn't tell whether a contrabass was used for the recording.)
Best regards,
jnk
