 Clarinet memorobilia?

Anyone know where I can get a mousepad with some sort of clarinet related pictures on it? And/or a zippo lighter with maybe a treble clef or clarinet on it? Long-shots, I know, but just wondering.

Where are the "Honk If You Love [your brand here]" bumper stickers? And the "Flying Clarinets" screen saver? The barrel and bell shaped salt'n'pepper shakers? The Giant Reed shoehorn? The Bonade wedding rings?

(Just pray that your S.O. isn't into Macramé...)

Query Google for words "bobble-head" and "custom." Lots of lawyers have Supreme Court Justice bobble-heads, and getting one of Sabine Meyer shouldn't be difficult. The initial one is fairly expensive -- a quick look shows prices from $60 through $400 -- but additional copies are considerably less.

My kids have given me at least 3 neckties with cls pictured on them, and one with a stylized sax on it. While I dont wear ties at all frequently any more [most often to funerals !!], when I play a "church" gig, I check out it's "propriety" and may "shock" Baptist friends !!, I also have several "tie clasps" with model cl and oboe "sticks". I'm sure there are T-shirts of many designs, have an abundance of strange ones, my fav is is a beer-mug-carrying girl at Berger's Pub in Germany !! As in my Michigan's Latin slogan, Circumspice [sp?], look about you. Don

Thanx, Mark, Don

I think the giant reed shoe-horn is a brilliant idea! There's loads of clarinet-themed jewelry out there, not just the cheapies for recital prizes but some classy little silver pins and such. I'm superstitious about what talismans to wear on the prowl at flea markets, yard sales, junktiques stores, etc., but since I don't want to wear a clarinet pin all the time, I usually wear appropriate critters: dragons, snakes and lizards. They're good for double duty, for collecting incense burners, too. But I never wear cat jewelry, for obvious reasons--except for Mr. Kittysnake. It's a ring in the form of a snake with a leopard's head. For some reason, Mr. Kittysnake doesn't have the usual feline attitu

Shadow Cat here. Excuse me, but we've had quite enough of Lelia's ape-like maundering, so I will just make her go to sleep at the keyboard and take over her inferior primate brain. Mr. Kittysnake is a devious shapeshifter that appears to Lelia in the form of a ssssssssnake with a cat's head because she hasn't got the wit to see through the disguise. He is really a sssssssserpent of the vilest kind, and if she ever carelessly sets him down on the bureau instead of putting him away in a drawer, I shall ssssubject him to extreme ssssssssssanctions. She was wearing him when a perfectly loathesome effing eeeeeeeeeeeefer-screecher found her a couple of weeks ago, among other things. Anything that appears to be part cat and part ssssomething else is eeevil. And your cat jewelry will indeed help to ward off screech-stick infestations.

Ssssssssssst!

In Foxes Music in Falls Church, VA the other day, I spotted a nifty piece of memorabilia: a ballpoint pin with the clip in the shape of a clarinet! Okay, yeah, tacky--but tacky in a cool way. I couldn't find a price tag on the display piece and was in too big a hurry to rummage around the store, so that's on my "check it out next time" list.
