Does anyone know who is replacing Stephen Johnston as clarinet professor at Shenandoah University?
TIA!

Hello Chris,
I am the clarinetist who is taking over the clarinet job at Shenandoah in September. If you "google" me you can find a fair amount of info. about me as well as my contact info if you wish to contact me. I am looking forward very much to working with the students at Shenandoah!
Best Wishes,
Garrick Zoeter

I've known Garrick since he was a high school kid, studying with my colleague Bill Wright. I had the pleasure of hearing him play the Messiaen "Quartet for the End of Time" at the Phillips Gallery a year or two ago; it was a fantastic performance! The Shenandoah Conservatory is very fortunate to have landed an artist of his importance for their clarinet professorship!

I sat on the search committee as the student representative. We were all blown away by Garrick Zoeter's playing, teaching and personality. Even though I just graduated with my Master's degree, if I'm still in the area I'm hoping he will be able to give me the occaissional lesson.
