 Piazzolla - Le Grand Tango

Does anybody have or know where I can get sheet music of Piazzolla's "Le Grand Tango" for clarinet? Its originally for cello. There's a recording of it for clarinet on the www.yca.org website and I fell in love with it after listening to the audio sample on this page:

http://www.yca.org/Franch-Ballester.html

I did some pretty detailed searching on sheet music sites to no avail. A search of the clarinet boards also came up with no info.

I'm about half-way through my own transcription of it from a cello part. However, Jose Franch-Ballester does some different (and really cool) things from the original cello part that I have. With school, work, practice, and other life necessities I haven't been able to put in the time to finish it or the effort to figure Franch-Ballester's alterations.

Any info would be much appreciated!

I think your best bet is either to

1) contact the artist (Luis Rossi once lent me a clarinet transcription of Piazzolla's "Bordel 1900") or
2) suck it up and transpose it yourself ( or pay some starving grad student to do it for you).

I couldn't find contact info for the clarinetist so I tried emailing his YCA representative a month ago, who hasn't gotten back to me.

I guess I'll just have to do it myself after my hour recital in April - I am the starving grad student :).

Steve,

Don't know about that one, but Oblivion is available in a Oboe/piano arrangement (Tonos) that I've moved for clarinet. It's not technically complex like Le Grand Tango but I think you'll like it.

This links to my recording playing both piano and clarinet parts recorded using Cakewalk and Tascam US122 mixer in my living room. Purely amateur...
