Dear All,
Doe anyone know anything about the Riffault Medium mouthpiece, they are really cheap in the UK, other than that, I don't know anything about it.
Thanks to any reply!

Yes, I've got one. Fifteen quid from Dawkes. Mine is OK; a bit like a B45, though less resistant. I use it on a Howarth/Marigaux with a Vandoren 2.5 to 3 reed.

Thanks Bartleby! does the sound similar to the B45?
Do you mean it is more easy blowing than the vandoren b45? I'm currently playing on a b45
Is there a number on these mouthpieces? i though riffault mouthpieces are given a number, N2, N3, N4... what does the medium correspond to, if at all similar.
Many thanks!

Yes, I find the Riffault easier to blow than a B45. I don't know if it sounds similar or not as this would depend on various other factors. The only markings on it are the number 4 and the word "Artist". The name Riffault doesn't appear anywhere. I don't know how one would measure the dimensions of a m/piece, but I would suspect it lies somewhere between a 5RV and a B45. I couldn't get on at all with the B45 and prefer the Riffault to it........I do like the 5RV though. The Riffault is made of hard rubber, and at fifteen quid is worth the money. However, I don't expect you'll ever see any big name players using it.....if you know what I mean.
