 Tied Tongue
Author: Simon

I have a slightly tied tongue. I don't seem to have any speech dificulties, however I do experience problems with tonguing, very similar to some of the previouys posts.

I would be interested to know if this is part of my problem.

By the way I have read all the comments previouysly and in particular the one by Sherman.

Do you use the tip of the tongue on the tip of the reed ? If not try it.

You can usually tongue faster than you think you can, as long as you keep the air moving steadily and minimize the movements of the tongue. Once you have the basic idea down, just stop worrying about it and do it! This helps me, although I am still working on keeping the tongue under control.
