I'm going into my local store later today to get some new bcl reeds. I usually play on FOFs or blue box Vandoren but the shop neither only carries a limited bcl supply. I know that on certain mouthpieces of certain instruments reeds work better. Now would the Grand Concert Select be a better choice over the Vandoren? I'm playing the Leblanc 2533P-2V mouthpiece which I guess is the 2V? I can't find any information on this mouthpiece really so I would really like to know what kind of reeds work better on it.
Edited mouthpiece model

to me the concert select work better, they are more consistant and I prefere the sound created on the cs, plus I find them to be more constant.
sorry I don't know about your mouthpiece, but the best way to find the ideal reed I think is to actually try them. Also, mouthpeices are not constant either
Best

As someone who has used all 3 of the reeds you mention as a primary performance reed at some point, I have found the GCS's to be among the more consistent sample-to-sample reeds on the market, certainly more than the Vandorens. They take slightly more breaking-in time than similar sized Gonzalez reeds and have comparable life-span. In terms of feel, all 3 of these brands are quite different from each other, and preference would be completely up to you.
