I have currently switched mouthpieces, the one I am using is a J.N.Gennusa GE* and I can not seem to find the right reeds to work properly with this setup. If any is using this same mouthpiece or know information about reeds that would work with the setup could you please provide me with guidance.

What type was the reed that made you select that mouthpiece in the first place? Wouldn't the same type or something with the same dimensions be a good place to start?

The Forte clarinet is issued with a Gennusa GE*S mouthpiece.
Although I only tested that mouthpiece briefly, it seemed to work fine with Gonzalez reeds.

Not to disparage the Gennusa mouthpiece in any way, but one of the characteristics of a really good mouthpiece is that it plays decently with a wide variety of reeds, and also allows one to get more 'good' reeds out of a given box.

I have two Gennusa mouthpieces, both of which enable me to play many reeds from a box.One of the mouthpieces I got inadvertantly, which I had copied by Ben Redwine. They are quite similar, but slightly different.
Which is my point. All mouthpieces from any maker and with the same numbers play differently, something perhaps to keep in mind. And a brief test is really not a test when it comes to either clarinets or mouthpieces. Try your original mouthpiece on the Forte, which will determine if that mouthpiece plays and in what way. Then, try the new one again.
Do you have the same results?

I have tested tens of the Gennusa GE*S intermediate mouthpieces purchased for use on the Forte' Bb clarinet and have purchased a Gennusa GE* from Ben Redwine the maker for myself. Both mouthpieces IMHO are reed friendly. I sell and play both the Gonzalez F.O.F. Reeds and Xilema reeds and both give me many good reeds per box and the others I rarely throw away but adjust them with the Ridenour ATG System (which I also sell) into competent players. In my travels I get bunches of freebe reeds from many sources including the major manufacturers and I am not immune from using them on any of my mouthpieces at any given time. I have not met too many unfriendly situations with any reed and either Gennusa mouthpiece. Each individual player is different in their abilities and architecture where reeds and mouthpieces are concerned so YMMV. I sell, but also myself use all the products mentioned in everday situations.
