Hi all
I have recently taken up the clarinet again after a 25-year hiatus. I am really enjoying it and have made some progress. My niece, who plays flute, is very happy to have someone in the family to play with. My question is do any of you have suggestions for clarinet/flute duets that we could do (not too difficult, maybe medium level).
Thanks for all of your great advice.
Michael

The Rubank/Voxman book of clarinet/flute duets should be perfect for what you need.
2 volumes, lots of interesting choices, not expensive ...GBK

Look at the offerings by (John Gibson) JB Linear Music, a sponsor of this bulletin board. He has a variety of music, from not-too-hard to challenging. You can get is material over the 'net or in CD/ROM form and print the pieces at home.
My flutist colleague and I used some of his Brahms Hungarian Dance arrangements for a recent recital. Its good stuff

Also, Andraud, Duo Concertantes, in 3 volumes. Mostly more difficult than the Voxman 2 volumes but an excellent collection.

I just got in sme flute/clarinet duets from Gary VanCott for my daughter and her friend to perform at solo/ensemble festival later this year. Gary is also a sponsor of woodwind.org, and has geat service with very quick shipping. I have ordered several times from him, and he is great to deal with.
