I made it last year but I've worked even harder this year trying to do even better and hoping to make it again.
Any tips/advice would be well appreciated!

Same as last year, but counting harder, especially on the long notes and rests.
Slow and perfect is better than fast and sloppy.

Make sure your attacks on bass are clean and in time.
Its awfully tempting just to blow the thing without thinking about the other players.
If you don't start on time you will never sound completely in time.
