 Seasonal Greetings
Author: bob49t

Thanks to all BB posters and readers for another interesting year. Also thanks to Mark and GBK for their management skills.

Seasons Greetings from the small but beautifully formed Cathedral City of Brechin in Scotland to all "boarders" world wide.

This has been an exciting year for me musically, with Mozart of course playing a huge part, in his 250th Anniversary.

I wonder, is anyone doing a 2007 concert this year to celebrate anyone's anniversary?

Merry Christmas. It's almost the next day here.

2007: 50 years since death of Sibelius;
150 years since birth of Elgar.

By the way, 150 years since the death of poor old Schumann seems to have been overlooked this year.

Merry Christmas and happy New Year Clarinet BBoard, admins and moderators. This is my favorite haunt for clarinet info on the Web today. It is such a fabulous resource that has helped me start to figure out the clarinet last year, and this year, the bass clarinet.

I also want to thank the main players in this forum who make this place really work. There are really too many to mention, but Roger, David, Merlin, Steve, and Walter have actually sent personal advice that my wife and I have followed.

Cheers,
Jim & Suzy

Two Finzi concertos in Febuary 2007 in Birmingham, it's couple with Elgar's In the south amd his 2nd Symphony. So it's really a Elgar concert.
Happy Christmas and a Happy New Year.

As is said in the last few measures of Crusell #2, 2nd movement: "echo."

I do more reading than posting on this board, but it is really a treasure as are the people who contribute so much knowledge and experience. Happy New Year to all.
