kia ora
i just found out that Richie Hawley surfs!!!!! not only that, but he's pretty good by all accounts. I thought i was the only one with these two rather mismatched obsessions (clarinet/surfing)... although Mr Hawley is certainly better at both of them than i am.
I lived/studied in Cincinnati for two years and never found this out about him, i don't know how he can stand being landlocked- it drove me insane being in such a boring town with no sea for hundreds of miles
