 Brightness?

Hello All,
What do you need to do when "many" say that you have a bright sound? I like my sound but I also realize that sometimes I have a hard time to "blend" in with a clarinet section. At this time I am using a Morgan J7 jazz type mpc. Any advice WELCOMED!

Ralph Morgan labels it J7 for a reason. His J mouthpieces probably are conservative as jazz mouthpieces go but they still will have an edge to the sound that might not suit all situations. If you like the mouthpiece try one of his "classical models". John
