Sounds great, wish I could play like you.
There a couple things I liked less than others, your high notes sound sometimes "strangled" or "constricted", your throat notes are not always in tune and your tone spreads a little when you crescendo on them. Finally, some of your musical lines sound a little "wavy" to me. By this I mean that I hear too many small air pins and not enough of a long musical phrase.
On to the good stuff, the tone is very nice, very liquid, the technique is solid and overall I like your interpretation ideas and could hear that you were telling the audience a story not just playing notes. Congratulations!
I feel very embarrassed writing this as I am light years behind you both technically and musically, but I'd rather make a fool of myself than not be honest.

I appreciate your taking time to listen. I'm happy to hear your feedback, and your honest analysis is most welcome. I noticed most of those things myself, but some of those phrases you mention were intentional (the end result not always convincing unfortunately).
I remember listening to your recordings you posted sometime ago, and they sound nice. I think you play better than you give yourself credit for. We're always our worst critic.

Your playing sounded OK to me...but the sound quality of my MP3 Player is quite poor so I'm not going to make any judgements. I think one post was a little harsh, but a point of view is always useful.
Being an Army bandsman seems like a good gig...hold to this thought;Larry Combs was an Army bandsman for many years, retired, and look what he's doing now!
I really enjoyed your yourspace photos of you and your friends...good luck to all of you.

Very nice. Difficult pieces. Clear sound.
What sort of mics and recording was used?
My mp3 sound was fine, but it was through Sennheiser 'phones and a Mackie USB interface.
Perhaps if u download the mp3s, save them, then replay, the resolution will be better.

Difficult passages, well done on sustaining and releasing the notes, but what i've noticed is that you struggle on your entrances, or come in just a hair late in relation to the piano.
I do agree with the statement regarding the constraining in the upper notes, but i think that has to do with having sustained those long notes.
Evident practice of long tones. good job.
